We are a close-knit, highly trained administrative team and are looking for the next great team member to join us! What type of work would I be doing in this position? You will contribute to the smooth operation of the practice by supporting the clinicians and managing patients' needs using our electronic medical records system.

What skills/qualities are needed in this position? We're looking for someone who does excellent work, can manage their time well, pay close attention to detail and follow through on tasks despite interruptions.
Someone who is trustworthy, dependable, open-minded and has a positive outlook on life! How is training handled? Training will be done one-on-one, in person, for 2-3 weeks.
Training will then continue on the job and will be evaluated after 90 days.
Summary of Job
Responsibilities:
Working with patients' electronic medical charts Handling live calls from patients, scheduling appointments & collecting payments Communicating patient messages to the clinicians and following up with patients Working with insurance companies to authorize medications Drafting letters and typing dictations Writing prescription templates, to be signed by the clinicians Scanning and uploading documents Maintaining shared virtual workflow logs Skills Needed:
Excellent phone and communication skills, with a clear, well-heard speaking voice Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to follow-through on items in progress despite multiple interruptions Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks Strong work ethic and initiative Critical thinking skills to complete challenging tasks Honesty and reliability Ability to maintain confidentiality of all patient information Professional conduct Ability to work well within a small team Education and Experience Needed:
High school diploma or equivalent, along with 2 years of college coursework or more 2 years administrative experience preferred Basic computer knowledge and word processing experience.
No previous medical experience is needed Key Information:
