As part of a larger team, the Facilities & Office Services Specialist will ensure the daily operations and management of AMETEK's corporate headquarters is managed efficiently.
You will ensure that all employees and visitors are supported within a safe and modern environment.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Manage all building related contracts and vendor relationships including property management, security, supplies, plants, postage vending and more.
Manage the building security vendor and security procedures.
Primary contact and responsible for addressing security calls after hours.
Assist in managing the Office Services budget including tracking monthly cost, re-forecasting and setting annual budget.
Perform building maintenance as required.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in building/facilities management, including property management, vendor contracts and budgeting.
Basic competency in the use of Word and Excel, and the ability to learn building automation, security, and purchasing software.
Familiarity with mail room equipment.
Exceptional customer service aptitude to address the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Professional communication skills for phone and in person interactions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move light furniture.
