Epic Credentialed Trainer
Experience:
Previous experience in healthcare training and familiarity with Epic Systems software.
2- 4 years clinical/ educational experience.
Essential Accountabilities:
Participate in Epic's CT Credentialing training class designed specifically for Epic credentialed trainers.
Undergo comprehensive training on the courses and applications to be taught.
Successfully pass a credentialing exam with a minimum score of 85%, allowing for two attempts.
Achieve a minimum score of 80% on all end-user proficiency assessments, with two opportunities for each assessment.
Deliver formal panel presentations on the material to be taught, with two opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to the development of curriculum, training plans, and the instruction of Epic applications.
Assist in the creation and validation of training environments and the testing of live environments.
Collaborate closely with the Epic Training manager and Instructional Designers to provide input for training and training materials.
Conduct employee education based on assessments of the learners' needs.
Coordinate logistics related to training delivery preparation, including materials assembly, room setup, equipment maintenance, and post-training cleanup.
Conduct training sessions and support principal trainers during end-user classes, ongoing training, and upgrade/functionality enhancement sessions.
Effectively communicate changes and enhancements to the Epic electronic health record system to end users.
Independently lead ongoing training efforts and act as the primary support resource for the electronic health record as required.
Assist with application support training activities as directed.
Facilitate personalization labs for providers and other attendees.
Provide on-the-job support and assistance to end-users to resolve software-related issues and answer questions.
Collaborate closely with IT teams, Principal Trainers, and Epic analysts to ensure the seamless integration of Epic software within the organization.
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and proficiency levels to monitor progress and compliance.
Stay updated on the latest Epic software updates and best practices to deliver high-quality training sessions.
Education:
Associate degree in a related field (Healthcare, Education, etc.
) is preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
Pass Epic's CT Credentialing Program within ninety days of the hire date Additional Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong communication and presentation skills.
